"Old building so quirks expected. Cross Keys single room nice, bathroom clean, heating good and adjustable. All staff very pleasant and helpful, Manager, Chef, Housekeeping, and others. Specially enjoyed bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast. Let me leave cabin case on premises after checkout until later in the day. "Stayed here in November 2023 and the only issue then was the plug release in the bath was broken. We stayed again in the same room September 2024 and they have still not fixed the plug release I had to get a teaspoon and pry it open!! Apart from that the food is fantastic and service brilliant. Sad to see the Candal factory has gone under after 50 years. We will be back might try a different room next time. "
