"The property is very much as listed and we had a lovely 2 week stay. Swimming pool was used every day and the fussball table was also a hit with everyone. It was lovely to be tucked away with complete privacy despite being in a little village with neighbours. Overall everyone had a great time."

"The place is hidden in Perigord, between the rivers Lot and Dordogne--which in summer is perfect to go swimming, canoeing, hiking in the area. There are culinary gems in Goujounac or Villefranche-du-Périgord--if you ask the locals. Be advised, though, that you need to travel considerable distances to get to places of interest. The place itself is kept in good condition, except for maybe a musty smell and an assorted mix of silverware and tableware, which seemed a bit thrown together."

"Gite propre, mais odeur de renfermé qui persiste dès que les portes et fenêtres sont fermées. Bon confort literie sauf le lit gigogne dont le bruit des lattes est insupportable pour le lit du bas. On a du dû déménager ma fille dans le clic clac du salon. Cuisine équipée sauf couteaux pour cuisiner, eau très calcaire donc dépôts dans la bouillir et traves de blanc sur la vaisselle qui sort du lave vaisselle. Conseil : faites votre vaisselle à la main. "

"After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. "

"Wonderfully equipped, quiet beautiful setting, a bit rural and therefore a car is needed, anything necessary is nearby, the hostess was very friendly and accessible. The Dordogne area is full of interesting things to see. We had a thoroughly wonderful stay."

The owners provided very detailed instructions as to how to get there,how to get in, how to operate the appliances. It was brilliant. The property is in a gorgeous little village just a few metres along the road. We were also able to use the local campsite facilities too which was lovely."

"We had an excellent stay in this lovely cottage in a small place in the Perigord Noir. It was very clean, we had lots of space and everything we needed. The location is very quiet, but very well located: all necessary shops just a few minutes walk away, the Dordogne river including canoe hiring also just a few minutes walk away. Half an hour walk for the local lake. Lots of gardens, castles, medieval towns and of course prehistoric sites to visit in this amazing area. Communication with the...
