"The host was so accommodating. Our flight was actually canceled and he offered to pick up our friends that day and made them feel so welcome. The property is BETER than the pictures. You are in the center to all of Ireland. Beautiful views … we had sheep out side our door. The house was spotless and had everything you needed and then some. The grounds were also outstanding. "Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat."

"Beautiful setting for this cottage! We loved our week stay and had a great base to travel in this area. There was plenty of room for 6 adults. We also had so much fun feeding the family donkeys!! Please note that the property is not in the city area of Gort (like the map shows)-it is a few miles outside, in the country. Our family hopes to be back soon."

"I spent all of July and August at Sean’s Lodge at Stonepark and I loved every minute of it. The Lodge was fully equipped with everything I could possibly need to have a comfortable stay and Sean was incredibly kind and helpful. The lodge was quiet and in a beautiful country location but only a 20 minute drive to Portumna and a 30 minute drive to Nenagh. I would definitely love to stay at the Lodge again. 10/10"

Excellent - so we booked a return stay
"I asked for a quiet room, at the back, away from the lifts. Many hotels don’t bother even trying to facilitate such requests. But not here. We got exactly what we requested and we got a great night's sleep. In fact the lifts are well away from the bedrooms, a nice design feature. The room was big. Two armchairs. Comfortable bed. Everywhere spotless. (Small niggle: no fridge or safe in the room). Staff are exceptional - reception, bar and breakfast room. Excellent breakfast. We had a lovely dinner in the bar. It was busy, but very comfortable. When we were checking out we booked a room for next month. Looking forward to it."
