Overall a great holiday
A lovely clean and large apartment with great space outside. Pool big and clean, lots of grass and kept tidy. Enough privacy if wanted. Kitchen well equipped apart from a dust pan and brush would have been very helpful for crumbs inside and out! Comfy beds, great shower. Lots of space for a family to be together or have their own space, games room downstairs ideal for that.
Unfortunately we had a run in with a Portuguese couple who lived on the complex who were very strict about the rules. These included no ball games or floats in the pool. We stopped kids playing football as yes it's loud and potentially damaging however my kids are under 10 so they were pretty harmless. They continued to confront us with kids using floats in pool even though we asked the kids to come out if anyone was swimming which they did. All other families seemed to have no issue and we were all polite amongst each other. What made it more frustrating was the fact that no other family got told off for playing ball games or using floats. It spoiled the fun for us all. I think if the rules were shared before booking, it would be very helpful. In this description it said it was great for families. Unfortunately not for us who like to spend most of our holiday time by the pool. Can't complain about our host or the apartment though, just a little sad that someone else spoiled it for us.
