Nice hotel in excellent location. Staff all friendly and helpful. Pleasant pool area and very nice indoor hot tub/jacuzzi. Breakfast good but choice started to feel a bit limited by the end of the week. Excellent coffee! We had a two balcony, one bedroom suite which was nice, however the balconies were very small, though provided excellent views.

Mostly everything was great. The only complaint I would have is being a VIP member of Hotels.com I was entitled to extra benefits but absolutely nothing was offered (Not even the free bottle of wine)😞🙃

Everything was wonderful at this hotel, however Expedia listed this as having laundry facilities but they didn’t. We had to go into town to do two loads of laundry. The hotel only had laundry service and that would cost a fortune for all the clothes we had. So it was disappointing that we had to Uber somewhere and wait there for our clothes to wash and dry.

The absence of considertaion for guests in the lounge area when the music was played at such a volume that it became intrusive. Word was sent via the bar and reception to tone it down. For two minutes it was lowered and then turned up louder than before. We and others left because it was evident that it had become more important for the DJ to dominate than the guests.

The hotel and staff were amazing. Myself and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary on our arrival date and the hotel very kindly had a lovely gift in our room for us. The facilities were fantastic, clean and comfortable. We decided to go half board for our stay and the choice's both at breakfast and dinner could not be faulted. Lovely fresh and very well presented food. The staff at the hotel are incredible. Polite, professional and efficient. Nothing was a problem for them. The hotel is within walking distance of the marina and while passing traffic can be heard around the pool area during the day,at night the hotel is quiet and peaceful and noise was never an issue. We were disappointed to hear that the hotel is to temporarily close at the end of the season for a full renovation as we particularly loved the traditional character of the place. We hope it doesn't change the ambience of the place too much Noel

Awful

This is not a good hotel. Absolutely not 4 stars. 1 - The wi fi was so slow it was virtually un-useable. . 2 - The beds were VERY uncomfortable. Gave us back pains. 3 - The hotel has a policy of putting water into the shower gel dispensers when half full. Then it ran out and we had to ask twice for it to be re-filled. Felipe from reception finally brought us some and angrily handed it over. Appalling. 4 - They give you cocktails with zero alcohol. Total scam. 5 - The shower was rubbish with little power 6 - There is a tiny car park, which is ALWAYS full. You have to park in other venues car parks. 7 - Poor air con 8 - We could hear the lifts going up and down all night. We had to use ear plugs to sleep. 9 - Only 6 umbrellas for approx sun loungers by the pool - but this is due to lack of space 10 - TV remote controller covered in sticky grime that we could not clean off. Most reception staff were nice but a couple were awful (Filipe) . The hotel is old and outdated. The rooms look tired and in need of a revamp. There are much better hotels in the area. We won't be coming back here.
