So quiet and yet within 5/10 minutes walking fabulous restaurant’s and museums/landmarks but what makes this hotel outstanding are the hosts who are so welcoming. "We stayed for 3 nights at the Lux Villa Ifigenia location in Theriso Village If you looking to stay in a very original, authentic home both unique and old-fashioned that is located in a very small and quiet village, this might be a good option for you. Be prepared though for 3 floor living, tight circular stairs, lots of antique decor and furnishings, base-only showers, inconsistent hot water etc. The AC and WiFi both work well though and there is off-street parking. "For the price paid the accommodation was very good, clean and larger than a Parisian hotel room. Towels were enough including the beach towel. The view is superb from the table in front of the door. The only miss was the coffe for the provided machine but the girl at the reception was helpful and the problem was solved."

"This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!"

"Our stay at Anotolia Charming was so amazing, the room and the service were both superb. Only a short stroll from the old port with shopping and restaurants and an amazing vibe all round. The lady at the desk was so helpful and assisted us with several local calls to retrieve some items we had left on another island - we can't thank her enough!! Definitely stay here you won't regret it!"

"Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a suite and it was excellent. the front desk staff were super accommodating and always seemed to be working, no matter the hours. The rooms are spacious and super clean. We rented a car and there was underground parking. We love walking and could easily walk to the old town ( about 20 minutes) and eat and shop. However, there was also an amazing bakery about one block ( around the corner)from our hotel where we picked up breakfast and sandwiches for the day....

"The owner is amazing. My phone had died so I didn't directions to get to the hotel. I found a shop owner that called her and she walked 10 minutes to where I was and walked me back. Each room is individualize and mine had a private entrance. There were lots of personal touches that made the place feel special. I can't recommend this hotel more. If I am ever back in Chania I will stay here again."
