"Lovely location right next to a small bay with slip way. Building could do with a lick of paint. But everything was in working order. Staff friendly and helpful. My single room with shower was simple but practical. Bed was comfortable and the room clean. I would use the French youth hostel service again."

"We were staying only for one night. Firstly, the location is fantastic for great restaurants and the beach.
We were travelling as a family with two young children and had the quadruple room which was great - huge main bed and two singles. Friendly staff on arrival and departure.
The amenities in the room were lacking if I’m honest. It had basic tea and coffee but the fridge wasn’t cold and the bathroom didn’t have any of the usual items you’d usually find. It was just a large container of a generic liquid for shower and hair.
The WiFi was non existent also. Given a code on arrival but once connected there wasn’t any reception.
There was noise all night outside but slept well - if you stay in a main location you expect the noise from the street below so it didn’t bother us.
We’d happily book here again for the room comfort as well as the great location for what we needed"
"The Hotel was nice and close to Mont St Michel with the shuttle at a few steps of property.
The instructions for arrival and parking were very confusing I left my car at la ‘ferme de St Michel’ restaurant as per instructions while the Hotel did have private parking.
I was surprised the Hotel did not have airco but then again on website it was not specified so can’t really blame them.
When sleeping 4 the rooms have a queenbed in a second floor room but the stairs were a bit steep and dangerous at night if you have to go to washroom that is on first level only. So keep your kids always in lower floor. Beds were comfy and room was clean had a coffee machine but no complimentary water - we took water from the tap ( fine by me)
People at reception were always friendly"
"Great beach location. 30 seconds away, just across the road. 15 minute walk to the main centre. Hotel staff really friendly and helpful. Only things we missed in the room was a safe and a fridge. Otherwise, lovely hotel in an excellent location"
"The room was clean and suited us very well. It is a room in an older building, so the room was quite small with no room for any luggage and the amenities were simple. But we were prepared so there wasn't any surprises. The setting was magnificent, and yes I would most definitely recommend a stay on the mount!"
"The staff, hotel, location, and our room were all wonderful. The onsite parking, although expensive, was very convenient and made our stay easier.
The one very disappointing aspect was the breakfast. It was below average, especially for a four-star hotel. The selection was limited, the few hot items available were barely warm, and the fruit and salads did not appear particularly fresh. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the breakfast was not up to the standard we expected from a hotel of this quality."
"Excellent location, that's why you go there.
Good: excellent friendly staff, location, price.
Surprise: 5pm check-in is unusually late for a check-in time, to charge 15€ for 2pm check-in makes it fell penny pinching. Breakfast is also charged as an extra for 15€, standard cold euro-breakfast of breads, cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs. It's in their own restaurant, a crêperie, you would think a nice crêpe for breakfast but no, big disappointment.
The less good: extremely quiet area (good) but when people walk in the halls it very noticeable. When the shuttle buses start going back and forth (early AM) the whole room shakes and lound rumble (something to do with how the street is built maybe). The standard old room: no AC, means a very very hot room and with only 1 small window (no screen) it makes it a hot and muggy night."
"Very impressed with our stay at Hotel Ore.
We (family of 5) had stayed previously at the property when it was Hotel Belem and had found the hotel useful for St Malo ferry the next day but overall not the best of stays.
On staying again under the new name/ownership and after the renovations our stay was vastly better. Our family room for the 5 of us was great and the decor is much improved. The continental breakfast was lovely. Overall highly recommend staying at Hotel Ore."
