"Great value budget hotel in Zakynthos Town, just a minute to the shops and even less to the waterfront. Helpful staff, spacious room. My only gripe would be the ensuite layout and fittings were a little scruffy and that the shower curtain caused the floor to flood when taking a shower."

Housekeeping was done only on the third day (which we were told was apparently the norm) and greasiness of the floor did improve after the cleaning. Makes me wonder when was the last time the room was cleaned before we entered. Great location during the non-touristy season when much of the island is...
