"Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. The deck boards on the 3rd floor balcony were not attached and moved around when you...

Maria the Host of Villa Melodia took the time to meticulously decorate both the inside and outside of the Villa. The garden is amazing.Centrally located for visiting during Panyias,And not only visiting Vamos but other villages between Rethymno and Chania.Wonderful Coffee shop Myrto right up the street and restaurants within walking distance. If im back in Vamos. I know where we will be Staying. "

"My wife and I plus our son and his girlfriend stayed for several nights in mid Spring and loved it. Strategic mountain location for Chania and Rethymnon and also close to road over White Mountains to Sfakia. Driving the final stretch from Pemonia to Melidoni is quite hairy so do take care!! Beautifully managed by Susanne and photos fully do the house justice. Marvelous crockery set and great welcome package!"

"This house is brand new and has plenty of room. It is also air conditioned in each room which makes a big difference when you need a good sleep and respite from the heat. The location is good and close to the bigger centers. There are local restaurants and shops as well. The beach is a short walk and only a 5 min cab ride. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for good accommodations with a pool. I plan to visit again. "

"Sehr fürsorgliche Hausbetreuung! Brachte uns einen Heizkörper, organisierte ein Frühstück mit Geburtstagstorte - immer erreichbar und schnelle Antwort bei Fragen. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, bequem und zentral im Ort - gegenüber der Taverne gelegen. Wir waren vermutlich die ersten Gäste nach dem Winter - so fehlten noch alle Abwaschutensilien und Getränke zum aufbrühen..."

"Appartamento bello, in ordine con un giardino esterno bello con piante ed in yavolo in cui poter far colazione all'aperto. Il letto singolo era in una camera molto piccola e ad agosto potrebbe risultare molto calda, a differenza delle altre stanze che rimangono piu fresche ma si puo optare nel tenere la porta aperta con l'aria condizionata accesa."
