"Front desk staff were not very friendly. Breakfast was not good. Waffles were either just shells or still raw in middle. Milk was hot. Found bugs in room, front desk said Yeah, they come out after a rain and turned away. We had stayed here because we had such an enjoyable stay at the Salisbury Sleep Inn. Was very disappointed at Statesville by the front desk staff and breakfast. Will definitely stay in Salisbury from now on"

"Nonsmoking now but definitely used to be….it stinks horribly. Went down for breakfast 45 minutes before it ended. One pan with burnt egg scraps, other pans empty and already cleaned. Wonder what was in those? We got toast and orange juice. Do NOT stay here!!!"

"The hotel staff was incredibly kind and responsive. The property was pretty beat up including guest rooms and especially hallway and lobby furnishings. There were layers of stains on the chairs in the breakfast area. Again, the staff was great and worked hard to make our experience pleasant, including bringing us extra blankets in the evening and keeping the breakfast buffet stocked. The hotel ownership needs to invest in the property to go with the amazing people who work there."
