If you arrive at our charming 4BR renovated farmhouse in the evening, make your way to the backyard for an incredible sunset. A fire pit with log stools and a bench is the perfect place to unwind into vacation mode. And the pool is open April through October so if you’re traveling with the kids, you know this is where they’ll want to be first thing every summer morning. Sip coffee on the back patio as they splash.
At our farmhouse, a quaint, quiet vacation day is easy. Fix breakfast in the spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances and stocked cabinets.
Then spend the day exploring Loveland. Rich in history and picturesque parks, Loveland, Ohio was known as the “Little Switzerland of the Miami Valley” in its early days and named “Best Hometown” by Ohio Magazine in 2013.
When you get back to the farmhouse, the pool awaits for an afternoon dip. At dinnertime, get familiar with the gas grill and cocktail area out back. An honor bar stocked with treats aids in a snack crisis! For a more formal meal, an elegant dining room seats 12 at a dark wood table inside.
One (of two!) living areas has a sectional couch, a 50” flat screen TV with cable, Xbox, and Roku, and a wood stove. Read, set up for game night, and converse in the second living room, where a comfortable Euro-lounger folds out for extra guests.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a heavenly king-size bed and an en-suite bath with two sinks. The kids will love bunking up the second bedroom, furnished with full-over-full bunks and a twin trundle. There’s another queen-size bedroom on this floor, plus one on the first floor well-suited to older adults. Another guest bath ensures plenty of space to get pajama-ready.
A smart lock makes it simple to check in and check out and for your safety we have cameras setup around the perimeter of the house.
We live close by and are happy to help if anything comes up during your stay. Our home manager is available to assist guests.
Fifteen miles north of bustling Cincinnati, Loveland is a destination with a beautiful backdrop and a story. Once a busy railroad town, Loveland was founded as a village in 1876 and chartered as a city in 1961. The Little Miami Scenic Trail is a local highlight, and the city’s 16 parks add to Loveland’s green vibe. Canoe down the Little Miami River, departing from the livery at Loveland Canoe & Kayak, or book a morning ride at the horse farm next door.
Take a day trip downtown for a game at the Great American Ballpark or Paul Brown Stadium — both are under 25 miles from your door. The Western & Southern Tennis Center is less than 9 miles away, as is Kings Island, the area’s premier amusement and waterpark.
Loveland has a myriad of cuisines to choose from, too: find pizza and Italian at The Works, gourmet food and wine at 20 Brix, and creative American dishes at Kirby’s. Narrow Path Brewery is also a local favorite located right along the Loveland Bike Trail.
Guests will need a car as Loveland is located in the heart of the northeast suburbs of Cincinnati. There are three parking spots available for guest use.
