We appreciated that our dog was welcome, and some toys and a chew even awaited her. Furthermore, the house had comfortable beds and seating, a well equipped kitchen, games, books, a well built fire pit and spectacular views. Our host even left us makings for S’mores and a bottle of wine! We were delighted to have an unexpected opportunity to meet our gracious host.
What a terrific getaway. We try to leave places better than we found them... not possible at this cabin! It was immaculate! It's been set up so thoughtfully - every thing you need is there... coffee, filters, makings for smores (including sticks). Even batteries should you need one. Won't hesitate to return! Thank you for a lovely stay!
It's a great cabin with all the updates and comfort atop a pleasant hill overlooking the foothills. Near to the lake and area hiking trails. I kayaked and swam in beautiful Kezar Lake and didn't want to leave.
Our stay at the Mountain View Cabin was perfect. Plenty to do, quiet, relaxing, super clean with everything we needed. Deb is a wonderful host and we are already working on when we can stay here again. We stayed for 10 nights and our dog Augie loved exploring the land the property is on. I couldn't have designed a better place to stay my self!
Came as advertised. Very accommodating host! Debra even started a fire for our arrival and personally introduced herself when we checked in. Place was clean and well maintained.
Both the property and host are top notch. Even thought we had 18" of snow the first three days it was maybe the best vacation we've ever had. Debra is extremely gracious and answered any questions right away. The property is clean and the views are incredible. This was our second stay and we're already figuring out when we can go back again!
MOUNTAIN VIEW CABIN IS THE BEST PLACE WE'VE EVER STAYED. DEBRA, THE HOST, IS WONDERFUL AND CHECK IN IS SIMPLE. THE CABIN IS EVEN BETTER THAN DESCRIBED. WE'VE STAYED THERE THREE TIMES SO FAR AND WE HAVE NO DESIRE TO STAY ANYWHERE ELSE. IT'S PERFECT FOR OUR DOG, AUGIE TOO. FURNITUE AND BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE AND THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE.
Host provided all the amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Nice to have a wood stove , washer/dryer etc. Host responded promptly to any questions. Lovely cabin and hope to stay again! Thanks
The property was right in the mountains with beautiful views. We did a number of hiking trails very close by with outstanding views. The house was very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The hosts even left a thank you bottle of wine and some smores supplies for us; they were very responsive and easy to communicate with. It was a bit of a drive to get to any groceries or restaurant. Lovely property, would definitely recommend.
Lovely remote cabin, but close to restaurants and scenic drives
Loved this place! We did scenic "fall foliage" drives including going north to Bethel, then west on Hwy 2 to New Hampshire, then south on Hwy 16 past Mount Washington, east to Fryburg, then back north to the cabin. Lovely 2-hour loop drive. Nice hiking trail behind the cabin. Burgers and pizza at AJ's Everything are great. Food at Ebenezer's was great, especially the fried haddock. Lake access would be easy in the summer. Hosts were very good.
Great cabin, beautiful sunsets, & very peaceful. Those are three of the biggest stand outs. Lovell is a lovely town with super friendly residents..even had the opportunity to meet Stephen King! Debra is fantastic, from the small touches in the cabin, such as s’mores, to her communication to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our week. Even recommended Lovell Center Market for some delicious pizza. Cabin was spotless & the furniture was comfy, had a great nap in the recliner 😁 Overall extremely satisfied & looking forward to our next adventure there.
We had a great time at Mountain View Cabin! Everything was exactly as described and we had some nice holiday touches added for our stay since we were there at Christmas. We enjoyed having family time, cooking, playing games, and watching movies by the fire. Our dog loved exploring the trails behind the house. Sunday River was about 45 minutes away for our son to do some snowboarding and we enjoyed the nearby towns and shops and restaurants. We’re already talking about a summer time trip.
This is our 2nd time being here. Absolutely lovely! Everything about it is so peaceful and it is as described. Something we did this go around is sat out on the 2nd floor balcony at night and took in the night sky. You don’t get that just anywhere. Every night was clear and the stars were so bright with shooting starts. Very hard to describe, you just have to see it for yourself. We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our Mountain View stay and retreat. The home was cozy and spacious. We enjoyed the decks and the beautiful sunsets. We arrived to a clean home well stocked to cook. The beds were very comfortable, we all had peaceful rest and we really thought the s’mores ingredients as well as the complimentary bottle of bubbly was a great touch. Made us feel right at home. Taking drives around can take your breath away. You’ll find great big hills that give picturesque views of the mountains. Thanks for hosting us!
This is the perfect location for privacy and unobstructed views yet not too far from convenient amenities and shopping in the White Mountain areas. Direct access to the snowmobile trail system is excellent. Property hosts made our stay easy and communication was clear and concise. The property was clean and well kept. The wood stove is a nice touch and gives off exceptional heat. I would only note that this property was listed on VRBO as having a hot tub under ammentities and does not, I am not sure if this may be a glitch on the site itself. Regardless, we will definitely be back in the future.
Wonderful cabin, great views and quiet peaceful area. The host went out of her way to give us a warm welcome and a merry Christmas stay with lovely decorations and ambience. We had all the amenities needed and then some. Definitely a stay I would repeat and recommend to everyone.
The cabin was clean and well equipped for 3 adults and 3 kids. My kids loved the bridge, loft and their own deck. Great views and bird songs. Our host communicated quickly and answered any questions we had. We plan to stay here again.
We loved everything about the cabin and were very impressed about the attention to detail. Wouldn't change anything. Thank your for being such a great host and we would love to return.
We had such a great time at the house! So clean, roomy, welcoming of our dog. Debra had great communication with us and made our stay even better. Would love to stay in the summer.
I cannot say enough great things about our vacation here. Debra made everything so perfect, from the warm fire when we arrived, the champagne welcome and adorable St Patrick's Day decorations, to the easy check in and communication throughout! Mike and I had the best time with our pup Mowgli, we will definitely be looking to come back!
