"Friendly and lovely place. Our room was small but it had everything we needed. Jo kindly left us croissants and yogurts for the morning and was very flexible with check-in. Askrigg is a beautiful village. It’s certainly worth a visit if you are a fan of James Harriott!"

"Great location in Richmond right next to castle and market center. Just steps to market Center, shops and restaurants. The apartment is newly remodeled, clean and spacious. It is well appointed and quiet. Our host was easy to reach and responsive. There were chocolates and fresh milk in the fridge. 2 things of note; parking is not provided and somewhat of a challenge. Also, no shampoo, body wash or lotion for the bath. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

The location was superb as only a short drive to Barnard Castle. Would highly recommend this property for a truly comfortable stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales.
