"The property and the surrounds were stunning. The bar staff seemed to be having a tough time keeping up but overall a great stay and wonderful staff ! Lots of day trips were very easy from the Inn as well as a beautiful walk into Bourton on the Water ! Highly recommended"

"Ground floor onto decking no privacy people walk past all the time looking directly onto the bed ! So hot and no a/c so the one big heavy door kept open all night so worried anyone could walk in! Just one tiny top window above door. 1 fan in the room doesn't do anything. Badly designed place and in a U shape so everyone opposite looks at each other too like a block of flats."

However the moment we checked in we went to the spa where the cryotherapy was broken and we couldn’t order any refreshments as the lady said she couldn’t leave her post. "I have stayed here before, but this time I stayed for three nights and will not be staying here again. The kitchen has recently been renovated and is now cordoned off, with a camera in place. However, people are still regularly taking food and drinks from the general fridge that do not belong to them. I had a whole pizza stored in the fridge, and someone clearly took a slice and turned over the remaining half. I raised this with the morning staff, but there was no apology and very little...

"Very dog friendly stay, dog allowed everywhere. Excellent crockery pitch across the small bridge for dog exercise and poo bin by entrance to hotel. Breakfast was great, though no cereal which was odd. Rooms well equipped, kettle and nespresso coffee maker, plus both still and sparkling water with fresh milk in the pantry (where there are also top ups of tea, coffee and water plus ice). Second time here and we'll be back again"

"The Market Tavern is a little gem and a very welcome find! Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, nice room and bar / restaurant. The star of the show is the food which was superb. A small menu but this means everything is good quality. Prices are reasonable - and worth every penny. With many restaurants now asking £35-45 for a steak, my steak at the Market Tavern was just £24. Ok, it wasn't a fillet or a rib-eye, it was a rump (a so called inferior cut!) But the chef here knows that it's about...

"The best part of our stay was the food in the restaurant. It was exceptional. The worst part was the 38 steps up to our top floor room and the quarter mile walk to the car park. The bed was comfortable, the Nespresso coffee maker was nice and the shower was just OK, having only a rain head and no wand. The bar is great for what’s on the bar menu but lame for US cocktails. For instance, the bartender didn’t know what either a manhattan or Rob Roy was."

Pedimos cambio y se molestaron las 2 señoras de recepción, no fueron tan amables, les rescató la puntuación el Sr. Mayor del restaurante, súper amable en el desayuno, nos trataba increíble, el desayuno rico y la cena deliciosa. Y los de recepción no nos explicaron bien los horarios de la comida y cena, pensábamos q a partir...
