"I needed to be in this part of GA for training with my dog. This place was closer to Hartwell Lake than other hotels. Delightful little town. The suite had everything I needed— little frig, microwave, coffee maker, room for my things, wifi, and convenient street parking. Nice coffee shop across the street and brewery restaurant around the corner. Be aware, suites 5 & 6 don’t have any windows, so if you are looking for a quiet, darker location, they are the ones for you. (An outside patio is in the works, but not yet available.) If you want natural light, pick one of the others. Overall, I was very happy and would stay here again. "

"Came down for a two fishing tournament. Place was extremely quiet and peaceful. Owner was extremely nice and professional, and was able to answer all my questions with no hesitation. We had no service but with the WiFi I was able to message Via the VRBO app. Will definitely stay again"

"Our large family enjoyed the roominess of the house and lake activities. We took in the view of every sunset from the large dock. The home is well-stocked with comfortable furniture, two refrigerators, a stand alone ice machine, games including a pool table and an assortment of board games. The glass windows and doors allow for a gorgeous lake view. All was clean and neat when we arrived. Parking is ample - we had 4 cars at any given time. We all agreed we would return if we have the opportunity. There were so many great places to visit :Forx Farm (best butter ever), Goat Farm, Richardsons Day Lillies, Botanical Gardens (Clemson). As far as food: The Pompous Pig, and the Local Pub and Eatery were excellent places to eat when we didnt prepare our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The host communicates promptly and is available if you have any needs."

"We loved the Lake House! We had family come in for our daughter’s wedding. There was plenty of space for everyone! Bedrooms were nicely decorated and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. Plenty of extra pillows, blankets, sheets and towels. Beautiful functional kitchen. 2 living rooms! The outdoor deck spanned most of the home. Lots of comfortable furniture outside; great space to enjoy our company. Kids could be outside playing! They really enjoyed the family of 3 ducks that would come to visit. Kayaks, SUP, life vests, nice socks! It was a great place for us to relax and enjoy our family!"
