Comfy and cozy but quite spacious room! And I wanted to take the bed home with me, it was that wonderful. Patrick was helpful and responsive although we barely had to bother him because we had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed another night or two!

Loved this property. Only stayed one night. Clean and spacious room, easy room access, plenty of natural light with a great view from the room windows, very good communication with Patrick, and it was the perfect location to visit West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and Campobello Island (Don’t forget to bring your passport). The sink and bathroom were a little snug, but it was okay for us. The bed mattress was very comfortable, but I would just suggest having a different base, as the wooden one made a lot of noise, if someone turned or moved around.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this charming place. The location is perfect, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, and the homemade cookies were a delightful treat. The room was spotless, as was the entire house, making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Our room was large, bright, nice view of the water. Very clean, had everything we needed, great location to walk to local restaurants & shops, easy drive to Campobello and Quoddy Light. Our host, Patrick, was friendly and accommodating. We were traveling with our golden retriever, and the space was very pet friendly.

Quiet, uncrowded get away

After exploring up the east coast for a bit I was looking for a peaceful spot to rest for a couple of days. The Eastern Beacon Inn in Lubec provided just what I was looking for. A clean, quiet, unhurried environment to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!

We loved the room. Everything was clean and well placed. I also loved that check in was contactless. I would say the bed was a bit hard, but the owner had stuff in the lobby for coffee, water, ice, light snacks. I would recommend if others stay in the area, this is the place to stay. We had seen another property close by and our room was all around way better.

Property was very clean and provided a nice accommodation in this unique community. For check-in, had to contact host for instructions - but he promptly responded. Continental breakfast set-up was ok - but ran out of coffee and not sure how host preferred that another pot could be made. All in all - enjoyable stay.

Beautiful and dog friendly

We were so favorably impressed with Eastern Beacon Inn that we're already planning a return trip. Our room had a stunning view of the channel and Campobello Island. Everything was spotless, attractively furnished, and comfortable. For example, the mattress and bedding were nice and firm and high quality. The self-serve kitchen provides everything you need to make your own continental breakfast. There's a ramp to the 1st floor; you have to climb a fairly steep staircase to 2nd and 3rd floors.

We had a charming room looking across to the edge of Canada sporting pretty lighthouse! All the halls, floors and the interior of our room was wood paneled! The whole place was clean as a whistle! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely place right on the main street. Beautiful view of the water and the bridge to Campobello. Easy check in, super communicative host, and a great coffee, fruit, and bagel set up for the morning. And the sheets smelled so good! Highly recommend!!
