Great place, large rooms, clean. Pretty old building in good repair nice decor. Friendly helpful owners. Big supermarket across the street, also a pharmacy. Auto laundromat a few doors down. Nice homemade Breakfast available for purchase. Good value.

Nice B&B outside the city

We decided we wanted to stay an extra day in Lucca and the host were very kind in helping us extend. At first it looked like we would have to change rooms for the extra night based on availability, but they were able to arrange things to let us stay in the same room which was nice. Its about a 20minute walk from the city, but there is a nice walking/biking path you can take, and the local bus stops right outside the B&B.

Von der Unterkunft ist die Altstadt gut zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig mehr als man in Italien erwartet.

Um B&B pra lá de simpático e acolhedor

Serena é a proprietária desse simpático e acolhedor B&B em Lucca. O quarto, de bom tamanho, é confortável e tem o suficiente para uma tranquila noite de sono. Ótima localização, em frente a um grande supermercado e a bons restaurantes. O café da manhã, embora não tão imenso quanto alguns hotéis, tem o bastante para a alimentação da manhã. Serena é muito simpática, e ela mesma fez o nosso check-out. Se voltarmos a Pucca, ficaremos lá.

A fantastic B&B!

Friendly and informative welcome. Super clean room. Yes a little noise from the main road, but nothing that kept us awake. With the window closed it was harldy noticeable. Fantastic breakfast, fresh fruit salad, eggs, bread, cereal, a freshly made coffee if your choice and home made cakes and fresh baked good...croissants etc etc which could all be enjoyed in the sunny terrace. Excellent communication (what time we would arrive, how to get to the hotel) from the owner from booking right through to departure. A 15-20 walk to the centre, a 5 minute €1.30 bus ride,or a 5-10 bike ride using the B&B’s free bicycles. A Coop opposite the B&B and a Lidl right on th corner, plus some nice local restaurants should you not want to visit the centre. Would gladly stay here and again and recommend it highly to anyone considering a stay in Lucca.

Bra boende i närhet till centrum

Rummet var rent och OK sängar. Bra service och god frukost. Tillgång till kaffe, te och kaka dygnet runt. Bra läge en liten bit från centrum. Kommunala bussförbindelser precis utanför Alma. Möjlighet att gå till centrum om man vill.

Dejlig sted.

Helt fantastisk dejligt sted. Værten er sød og hjælpsom og bager en skøn kage til morgenmaden. Værelset er rent og pænt, der er en dejlig terasse man kan spise morgenmaden på når vejret tillader det. Morgenmaden er dejlig. Vi tog lige tre ekstra nætter, for stedet er dejligt centralt til det vi vil opleve. Lille minus er manglende kaffe/te facilitet på værelset, dog er der køleskab.

A+ accommodations in the heart of Tuscany

Excellent B&B experience that began with frequent communication prior to arrival. B&B is pristine, and Serena is an extraordinary host in every way. Spacious room and en suite bath; excellent location, close to supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, and old city Lucca. Excellent breakfasts each morning, and Serena provided great tourist information for the Livorno-Pisa-Cinque Terra-Florence area.

I can recommend this place!

Alma is a great b&b close to city centre. We were glad that the place had bicycles to borrow as Lucca has cycling lanes around it. The old town is just a 10 minutes drive away. Should you have a car, there's a free parking place on nearby shopping centre. Our host Serena went out and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She has taken excellent care of the house, the breakfast was brilliant and we felt like being at home. I would happily come here again.

Esperienza assolutamente positiva. Colazione straordinaria, ambienti pulitissimi è sempre ben curati e riscaldati. Rapporto qualità-prezzo eccezionale. A pochi minuti di auto dall'ingresso delle Mura della città. Moltissimi parcheggi gratuiti e ben 3 supermercati nelle immediate vicinanze. Farmacia di fronte e ristoranti a pochi metri. Se hai "un'automobilina" puoi parcheggiare anche davanti alla porta d'ingresso del b&b Tutto perfetto

Dejligt B&B

Alt er bare tip top i orden. Rent og pænt. Gode værelser med lille køleskab, gode senge, fine badeværelser. Fantastisk morgenmads buffet og lækker kaffe, nydes inde eller ude på terrassen. Ejeren Serena har gode ideer til fine ture i området, og hun er bare den skønneste vært. Gå til Lucca (30 min hvis du går stille og roligt), eller tag bussen lige uden for døren, chaufføren sælger billetter til 2€. Husk at stemple billetten i bussen. Der er mulighed for at låne cykler hvis de er ledige, og det er fantastisk. Cykelsti helt ind til bymuren. B&B Alma ligger ved traffikeret vej, men det var ingen problem for os. Lokalområdet er trygt, med flere spise og iindkøbsmuligheder. Vi anbefaler B&B Alma på det varmeste.

Nice small B&B near the historical city centre

We stayed for one night at Alma and we enjoyed our stay. The owner was very helpful and friendly. She gave us bicycles for free so it was easy to go to city centre. Breakfast was even better than what it was in chain hotels. Room had an aircondition and the room was spacious enough for the two of us. We definitely recommend staying here while visiting the beautiful city of Lucca.

Brilliant b&b!

Having stayed here a year earlier we knew what to expect, however since then a new owner has taken over. She was an excellent host, Serena was very welcoming and any questions we had she did her best to answer. We will definitely be going back. If it's a clean room, friendly staff and fantastic location your looking for, then look no further!

Top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Wir waren für insgesamt 3 Nächte im B&B Alma. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und haben direkt Essens- und Städtetipps bekommen. Unser Zimmer war sehr ruhig, obwohl das B&B an einer größeren befahrenen Straße liegt. Davon braucht man sich also nicht abschrecken lassen ;) Unser Zimmer war wirklich sehr sauber, parken kann man direkt vor der Haustür kostenlos und das WLAN hat super funktioniert. An einem Tag haben wir uns die B&B-Fahrräder kostenlos ausgeliehen und sind damit in die Stadt und entlang der Stadtmauer gefahren. Das war wirklich super! Ich kann diese Unterkunft insbesondere wegen des Preis-Leistung-Verhältnisses sehr empfehlen :)

Nice Clean but noisy

We stayed there for a wedding. We arrived late that day, so Serena arranged everything several days in advance because they are not open 24/24, it was very nice. The room was spacious,and clean. Bathroom looks new and was very clean too. The breakfast was nice and all the employees were very nice and here to help. But I was in the Felice room right on the boulevard side, and it was noisy at night. I was really tired and jetlaged and couldn't sleep as much as I wanted because of the noise. Be sure to ask for a room on the other side of the building (court side) to have a better and more quiet night.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per una notte ma saremmo rimasti più a lungo! L'accoglienza e la disponibilità da parte di Daniele sono state impeccabili. Camera ampia, pulita e confortevole ideale per una famiglia di quattro persone. Esperienza assolutamente da ripetere!
