Very central to the old town of Ljubljana and a short walk to the bus and train stations. Breakfasts were lovely with a wide variety of hot and cold food. Staff cleared tables quickly and replenished food regularly too. A fantastic stay at City Hotel."

"Overall, this place was just barely OK. Only one of 8 staff we interacted with were friendly, the rest did not seem to care at all that we were there. One afternoon the restaurant staff completely ignored us for 30 minutes and I found them inside chatting and playing on their phones. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, but when we advised the front desk they first said that was impossible then finally said they would look into it but they didn’t. And possibly because of the open fire in the restaurant, the entire hotel common area smelled of stale food, or worse. Overall this place has potential, but I would not recommend primarily because of the poor service."

"We had a wonderful sound proof room with blackout curtains. The bed, shower, amenities were very, very good. The staff was very helpful in everything. The breakfast was very good too although there were no eggs provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! :)"
