"We stayed here Aug 2025, coming in from Florence. Siena is absolutely gorgeous and Hotel Athena was the perfect hotel to explore the area. The hotel itself was very nice, updated, good sized rooms with nice bathroom. Tea kettle in the room and water in the fridge (at no extra cost) was appreciated after long days on the hills of the town. "Breakfast with amazing view on the terrace. Fresh homemade bread, butter, coffee and we with my sister were in love with the spinach pie. To be honest, we were very upset stay short time in this beautiful place and decided comeback for longer time. We were sleep as a baby, good quality linen, towels and the shower with highly water pressure. peace and quiet made us calmed and so relaxed. Good place for slow relaxation. "
