Very satisfied

We had a great stay at The Lamplighter. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our room was pleasant and comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding. I can't think of any way it could have been better. Enjoyed the availability of beverages and cookies. Enjoyed sitting out in the gazebo.

Lamplighter Bed and Breakfast is a clean and cozy b&b in downtown Ludington. My husband and I stayed there for one night prior to our departure on the S. S. Badger. We were welcomed upon arrival and given a brief tour and needed information regarding our stay. Restaurant recommendations were given and were spot on. After dinner we came back and relaxed in the common area with a glass of wine. Early the next morning we were delighted to experience an absolutely delicious breakfast!!! Such a nice treat before our trip. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the beautiful backyard and gazebo due to the weather, but it’s lovely. We would definitely book again.

Dan and Jen were wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Monet room which is on the main level. Room was perfect. The house was so spotless and breakfast was cooked up fresh with local ingredients and delicious. Highly recommend.

Wonderful B&B in Ludington

We recently stayed at the Lamplighter B&B in Ludington, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The hosts were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The property itself is beautifully restored, with five guest rooms that are well-maintained and very clean. The bed was really comfortable, and we loved the common spaces, both indoors and outdoors—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a real treat, freshly prepared by the hosts. They served two courses, with one being a delicious hot quiche with sausages from the local butcher and fresh salad on the side. We appreciated that they asked about any allergies or preferences ahead of time. Plus, having tea and coffee available all day was a nice touch. Overall, it was an amazing place to stay in Ludington. We are looking forward to coming back and staying longer next time! If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming spot in Ludington, we highly recommend this B&B.

Wonderful B&B experience

Beautiful B&B with very congenial, welcoming hosts. Room (the Cassatt room) was small but comfortable and nicely decorated as pictured on the web site. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Room was well-lit with comfortable bed and pillows. No refrigerator but a refrigerator was available outside the room. Coffee, tea and snacks available at all times in the dining room. Delicious breakfast prepared and served on the patio by the host. The Inn was located in a quiet residential area. Wonderful B&B experience; I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were great - friendly and knowledgeable. The historic home which is the B&B is beautiful and in a good location. Our breakfast was delicious! We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return.
