This Chalet provides a nice cozy environment that makes you feel right at home. This home is being offered to travelers for the first time ! The home is located walking distance to Lake Pauline and Lake Rescue, it is only 5 minutes from Okemo Mountain, Jackson Gore Adventure Resort, Fox Run Golf Course and downtown shops and restaurants. The home is located in a private wooded area with a large deck and also has a screened in porch. Killington Mountain is located just 25 minutes from the home and if you love to Mountain Bike, check out the Evolution Bike Park at the Okemo Resort. Wood stove available for those extra cold nights and plenty of cozy blankets.

The home has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
The master bedroom is located on the first floor. It is perfectly furnished with hardwood floors and dressers. Two additional bedrooms are located on the second floor, the bedrooms are perfectly furnished and plenty of space for all your belongings. All closets are equipped with velvet hangers.
Laundry room is located in the first floor bathroom. Enjoy the screened in porch with globe lights for a relaxing evening.

Wildlife such as deer come visit the property quite often and are usually seen in the morning time from the large slider doors off the living room or the deck, so enjoy a cup of Joe and the scenery.

In the Spring and Summer bring your boat, kayaks or canoes to enjoy the 2 lakes, just a 5-7 minute walk from the home. Lake Pauline is Kayak and Canoe friendly and Lake Rescue is boat friendly so bring your family down during Spring and Summer and enjoy some fishing, boating and some Summer adventures. Camp Plymouth State Park is less than 10 minutes from the home. Take a drive down to the Camp Plymouth State Park and spend the day on their beautiful grounds, enjoying the lake, grilling or go hiking across the street. Enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities while you visit our Cozy Chalet.

This listing doesn’t do the actual place justice it is bigger than the pictures beautiful inside out - clean - convenient & Dorota was great to work with super accessible and straight through from beginning to end would stay here again no doubt about it .

The screened in porch was a real treat to read/write in the morning when it was raining. Our vacation was a mix of adventure and relaxing - it felt like we were 'home'. The owners are a dream to communicate with - very attentive, responsive and kind. The pictures don't do the home justice - you will be happy with your choice!

Great Cabin- very close to Okemo

Lovely cabin for our family to stay with our dogs. Plenty of space, very clean, excellent location for skiing at Okemo. Hosts are very kind and responsive!

Ski Weekend

Travelled up to Ludlow with friends to ski Okemo for the weekend. The cabin had every amenity we could ask for, and being so close to the mountain was an added bonus. The listing was very accurate and the owners are super nice and answered any and every question we had.

Cabin in the woods

Wonderful Vermont Retreat

We loved this charming house, rustic in appearance but clean, comfortable, and spacious, in a beautiful woodland setting near Lake Pauline. We highly recommend it!

Excellent stay

This is a perfect cabin for a ski trip to Okemo. Better than the pics. Big kitchen, plenty of room to hang out, kids can seperate from adults easily, I could go on, and on. 3 minute drive to Jackson Gore. 5 mins to main street. Great place, would definitely book again without hesitation.

Cute Cabin

Spacious and cute! Sleeps at least 8 with 2 full baths. We only wish it was closer to the water, it was too awkward to bring our SUPs through the woods to the tiny lakefront access. Dog friendly, too!

Great private location, close to many amenities

Such a great cabin! Quiet and very clean! We loved the large deck and screened in porch for rainy and bug free nights. The only downfall I would say is the restricted areas around the lakes. No parking, private property signs everywhere on Spruce Lane! Which is walking distance from the cabin. I wouldn't recommend waling the path in Spring. We would have welcomed a few friendly signs on the path from the back of the cabin leading us to the beachy area. However, we never made it to the little beach steps because of the condo at the end, which clearly stated private property all around it. The area overall gave us other swimming holes and would be great for kayaking at the boat launch up the road.Lastly, we did hit a rare heat wave of 98 degrees in June. There were ample fans but a portable floor a/c unit would have been great addition for a summer rental. The owners are super nice and we'd definitely love to be there in Fall.

Excellent for Fall Foliage

Wonderful property in the woods, short walk to water, close to so many small, classic VT towns with historic sites & quaint shops, galleries & restaurants. We love hiking & canoeing, so the nearby State Parks & hiking trails were wonderful. Our favorite place was VIN Nature Center where we saw many raptors and learned so much. Coming "home" to this beautiful vacation home at the end of each day & sitting out on the deck or on the screened in porch was perfect.

Lovely ski house

The house was exactly as we expected. The kitchen was well stocked and worked out well as we cooked dinners every night. The owner was so quick to respond to my questions and was a pleasure to deal with. We were originally scheduled to arrive but our arrival was delayed due to a huge snow storm. The owner kept us abreast of the weather and worked with us to allow us a later checkout so we could make up for the lost day of skiing. That was a really nice gesture on her part. We appreciated her generosity to work with our situation. Our entire stay was wonderful.
