Friendly hotel within easy (and scenic!) walking distance of Ludlow, with it's history, food and culture. Staff were great and helpful with tips for Ludlow and sights to see in Shropshire. Great breakfast in a sunny garden room. Easy parking and comfortable room. Views of the castle and the river within minutes walking from the hotel.

Great location if visiting Ludlow as only 15/20 minute walk in so ditch the car at the hotel! Small hotel but perfect for a short break. If tall maybe mention on booking as some rooms are second floor and have eaves which could present a challenge! We stayed in Room 7 which had all we needed but was compact. However hotel good value and suited us perfectly. Would stay again.
