"Bibi took very good care of us. Our room was always kept neat and clean and she always restocked our room with water,coffee and biscuits. We had complementary on site parking in the garage which was very convenient. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast and occasionally dinner at the restaurant the food was delicious and the waiters/waitresses were professional and provided us with any requests we made."

"Good stay at a good price. Stayed 2 nights as a rest day on our Wild Atlantic Way trip. Turned out to be a great choice. Didn’t use the Dpa facilities at all"

"Clean comfortable room. The lighting was tricky(I’m not familiar with inserting your key card into a slot in order to activate electricity). An explanation would have been helpful. The front desk staff was not particularly helpful with transportation issues. In addition staff throughout the hotel - front desk, restaurant, bar - were very superior in attitude, appeared bothered by questions, not particularly friendly. Breakfast, restaurant food and service, housekeeping, room conditions were all excellent. Other staff were not friendly or interested. Not the typical Irish welcoming that you expect in Ireland."

"Can’t say enough good things about this property! The location on the lake is fabulous and it is on the way to Connemara National Park and the coast. The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The lodge itself is exactly what you would expect in a natural Irish setting. The food was very good and the bar was cozy offering an opportunity to meet other guests. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Tom the bartender was a charm. They washed our clothes at no charge and returned them folded! Wish we could have stayed longer."
