The Hotel Colorado provides everything you need to see Lugano and it is a great value for the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable—and while they aren’t luxurious the air-conditioning is fabulous! Staff is kind and gracious—the gentleman working the front desk even gave me a ride to a nearby grotto restaurant—(Grotto Figini which should not be missed!).

Great location with smaller but very nice rooms. Wife and I were happy with the room as it had everything we needed to explore the area. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient with a 5 min walk to the water, and plenty of bus stops within 2 min from hotel.

Excellent stay at Hotel Colorado. I arrived very tired to the hotel, but the check-in was fast and the staff was very kind so everything was smooth. The woman at the reception talks multiple languages so it was easy to communicate with her. She provided me recommendations to eat, take the bus, etc. The room was very clean and had all necessary for a short stay. The reservation included unlimited bus ticket during two days which was great to go to places far from the hotel.

Hotel was in a nice location with a large balcony. Staff were in a bad mood both days I were there. A lot of locals staying at the hotel serving dirty looks. Walls were very thin and many people were going around the floors banging on the walls/doors, or playing loud music in their room. Room service entered the room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was up, made for a very awkward experience to say the least. To make up for a bit of it, the location was within walking distance of the train station and 2 bus stops, so at least leaving the hotel was convenient.

This property is very conveniently located for walking and city transportation. Comfortable clean and we really enjoyed sitting out on our patio. The staff was ever so helpful in anything we asked for! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
