"I loved that this location was outside of town and the view from the top of the hill was beautiful and very quiet. Apartment had a very comfy bed, two baths and was perfect for us. Well well-accommodated with bedding, kitchen needs like coffee machine and the chairs and cooler were super helpful. "

"Very clean, cute little place! The ac unit made terrible noises in the middle of the night, and there were no bathroom towels. HOWEVER, there were beach chairs & towels, the place was SUPER CLEAN, and the owners answered my messages within minutes! I would definitely recommend for 2 people. "

"This property was listed on both VRBO and another company. I reserved on VRBO. Host failed to respond to emails. I called from the property, called the Host to request the lock box code, only to be told that I did not have a reservation. I told her it was through VRBO and she said she doesn't use it anymore and told me to go the other company's website to find my reservation and then tell her how to find the reservation on the other site so she would then give me the code to the lock box. "Owners stopped by and left us two more beach chairs an hour after we arrived, a nice touch there were 4 of us. House was worn but working, could use a lot of gardening but we were only there nights. Coffee was provided, air conditioning worked great, shower and beach towels provided, and a bar/restaurant 1 block up the same side street. Abandoned house next door had two horses grazing (there are many abandoned houses in PR)."

"It was an excellent, its the way these rentals were before 2020. Clean, comfortable, Kitchen actually has essentials in it (not that we cooked much). Beds were super comfortable, the AC in the bedrooms worked great. I would stay there again if I ever go back and its available. The neighborhood is very quiet after 10pm except for roosters. Very easy walk to all the restaurants, in town ."

"Overall a great experience. Betty and Miles are wonderful hosts. They know the island and will give you useful tips. The apartments are newly updated and feel great. The view is awesome. Waking up to 180 degrees views of the Atlantic Ocean is priceless. The pool is great: not too small and 6 feet deep. The units are well maintained and equipped with everything you need : pots,pans, utensils, glasses and plenty of space to cook. The gas grill is small but brand new. Sea Gate Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Wow, we had a great experience at Sea Gate Inn. The owner was very responsive to my messages and helped me figure out the ferry, getting a taxi, and scheduling a horse back riding tour. When we arrived she was waiting on us at the gate. We got there around 9:30 AM, way before our check in time. We were going to leave our bags in the lobby, but our room was already prepared so we got to check in early! We were given a map of the island and told where all the beaches and restaurants were, which was very helpful. This hotel has a really pretty landscape! I would definitely recommend to book here!!"
