"Latitude 13 is a great destination for a stay in Lilongwe. It is a lovely part of Lilongwe and the rooms are comfortable. The restaurant has a great range of delights. I did find the serves rather large so you will not go hungry. I will definitely return if I am back in Lilongwe."

"This is a unique property in the sense that it has all the basic needs and checks off all the boxes in Lilongwe. It is comfortable, clean, and safe. However, it is very basic and cold in terms of decor and having one restaurant. Any stay over 4-5 nights without a form of transportation and ability to explore will be very boring unlike Latitude 13 that is a warm and inviting property with interesting and appealing architecture and art. "The staff are all very nice and helpful. They were in the process of remodeling a wing so clean was a challenge. Then their hoover was broken so the poor staff were sweeping rugs using s dust broom. Each room has its own dedicated wifi which is the best I ever had in Lilongwe. Loved the monkeys that seem to have the run of the place at times. Makes for a great show. Had my morning coffee on the front porch while the monkeys gave me a wonderful show. Breakfast was amazing and you can get your eggs cooked anyway you like. Was very delicious. The restaurant has lots of food choices including a large selection of Indian cuisine. Very close to Lilongwe city center. I highly recommend Woodlands should you need a place to stay. You can’t go wrong here. Thanks to the staff and management. Job well done. "
