This 1.6 mile trail (one way) ascends 1050' to the 2nd highest point in the San Juan Islands. Have an incredible evening/meal at Willows Inn, then hike this the day after to burn some calories. The preserve is incredible, and on a nice day the color, sun streaks, waterfalls and wildlife will not disappoint. One of the many reasons to live in the bountiful Pacific Northwest!

This is a well-equipped cottage in a beautiful and convenient setting. It was perfect for the three of us plus our two small dogs. It is only a short walk from the ferry and the Island Market. Everything was clean and nice. It was surprisingly quiet considering the location. Bed was comfortable, however the pillows were pretty flat. Great location convenient to everything. Overall we were happy with our experience.
