"Fortunately, though I only booked this property mistakenly because the search engine for Orbitz included it accidentally in a search for a location over 100 miles away, I enjoyed my stay. One thing that was correct from said search is that this apartment has very inexpensive rates; so it is a very good value for one's money, especially considering that it has a fully functional kitchen and private bathroom included. The people who manage it were also very helpful. Though I never met them in person, they assisted me with finding local transportation, especially since Uber doesn't work in this part of Germany (Werne). They were also responsive with providing information about local laundromats etc."

"I am still waiting for correspondence from the hotel. We arrived earlier than when the check in opened, tried contacting via the number given with no joy. The kind gentleman next door in the farm shop allowed us to use his toilet as we had travelled from Belguim and the building was locked and access was via an access code on the keypad which we had not been given. I have messaged through Expedia numerous times with no response and we ended up sleeping in our car in the hotel car park as they never responded to us. Absolutely disgusting to still not have had a response from anyone and am waiting for confirmation of a refund! No apology or anything. Very disappointed as we had walked nearly 2 miles from Kamen station to our car, only to have nowhere to sleep. Hopefully on reading this somebody will actually respond to my messages. "
