"Wonderful location, we rented a car and stayed for 2 nights, it was easy to drive to Interlaken and Thun. The mountain view is gorgeous and the chalet has everything you need except washer/dryer. There are rules including quiet hours/no showers after 10pm which we did not know beforehand, which would have been appreciated. Otherwise a great stay."

"Ursula and Peter are amazing and very helpful hosts .They left us some delicious bread and snacks Also offered milk as the stores were closed. They helped us with luggage too . The views from balcony are very beautiful we could just and relax all day.It is very clean and cozy place . The bus stop was very close by and we had no problem with connections to the trains. "Super Host who provided a guided tour of the town. Apartment was very well stocked with local food samples. Easy walking distance to public transportation and restaurants. We used this as a location to take the train into Lucern. A 20 minute train ride. Newly renovated apartment. Would definitely book again."

"Wengen - Wow! And what a perfect chalet to experience it from. It is cozy, beautiful, well-located and….the view! I jokingly said that postcards must have been invented here because otherwise no one would believe that such a place exists. The decor of the chalet is beautiful and cozy. It invites “hanging out”. "Fantastic view on the lakes and mountains, close to many hikes as well. About 15-20 minutes from Interlaken up in the mountain. Excellent equipment and beautiful terrace. Unfortunately, we tripped a breaker on our last night when my daughter tried to plug her adapter herself, losing electricity...didn't find the right box/breaker to reset ! Hopefully, nothing broke. Sorry for that."

"The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. I still do not understand why we had to leave cash for the tax and it wasn't billed through the VRBO system. Very inconvenient to have to...

So it’s a bit farther out of downtown than it seems, but we had a car and it seemed public transport was close by. Showers are quite small, but normal for Europe. Beds are very firm,but fine for a short trip. Kitchen has basic essentials. We had to wash some of the bedding when we arrived on two beds as they smelled used and sweaty. "This place did not disappoint. The views are identical to the listing. The chalet is cozy and we felt right at home. We took advantage of the fondue sets and made an amazing dinner at home away from the crowded restaurants. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept great. "The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. "The room was clean and had all the necessities. The kitchen had silverware, plates, pots, pans, and an espresso machine. The bathroom was clean, and the tub was spacious. The bed was comfortable. However, the pull-out bed was uncomfortable and tilted to one side. Additionally, customer service was terrific. They even do your laundry. Overall, I loved my stay here. "
