Birthday Destination

Vista Grande was a great place to stay for my fall birthday. It afforded the perfect scenic getaway. Views were beautiful and it was conveniently located close to Luray Caverns as well as numerous hiking trails and cute towns to explore.

Cozy stay in Luray

Becky and David are wonderful hosts and will definitely make sure you have everything you need. The cabin was as described, overall very clean and the perfect size for our family and dog. We all really enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to look out and see mountains and my kids loved the hammock chairs!

Wonderful get away

This place was so wonderful. It had everything we needed and the hammock swings were a huge hit with everyone. I had to alter our plans and the owners were wonderful to work with, very accommodating. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet get away in the mountains!

Relaxing Stay

We spent a long weekend at La Casita while exploring Shenandoah National Park each day. It’s about a 30 min drive to the park entrance from the property — I wish it were slightly closer, but the drive is so beautiful, and our stay was a nice escape. We had a fire in the pit out back and enjoyed the large tub overlooking gorgeous Mountain views. Would definitely stay again!

Big 30 weekend

The home was perfect and had everything you could want on a weekend get away. Great location to local restaurants and activities. Even though the weather was poor and had everything I wanted to do closed, We still enjoyed a peaceful weekend get away.

Vista Grande Halloween weekend

We had a very easy time renting the Vista Grande cabin and found it very cozy and comfortable, and also offered some of the most amazing views Kristy and I have ever seen. We had a wonderful time at this cabin and would recommend it to friends in a heartbeat!

We had an incredible time atVista Grande. Everything was wonderful & the owners were totally available for any questions. The view was so amazing, the back deck was my favorite place & I spent every morning there with my coffee. I look forward to coming back in the future!

What a beautiful place!

My wife and I stayed in this lovely 3 bedroom cabin with an amazing view of the mountains for 2 nights. David and Becky took great care of us during our stay in making sure we everything we needed was provided for us during our trip. I highly recommend staying here for anyone who needs peace and solitude, or a fun family time in the Great Outdoors! Thank you again David and Becky!!!

Perfect little getaway

My husband and I were looking for a get away near Shenandoah national park, which is a special place for us, and this cabin was perfection! The views are incredible. We will be back for sure. Fabulous view

We spent three days exploring Shenandoah national park and this was our home base. Becky and David were very responsive to out text. Everything went as we expected. The main reason we choice this property was for the view- it didn’t Disappoint!

Amazing time in Shenandoah

We had an awesome trip!! David and Becky are terrific hosts. Cabin had everything we needed. Incredible view from the balcony and the awesome hammock chairs! Close to some of the best hikes in Shenandoah National Park and five minutes from the Shenandoah River for fishing and kayaking! Finished each night with a campfire. Thank you Vista Grande!

Beautiful view

Had a great time at the Vista Grande! The cabin was inviting and cozy. Loved the view and the fireplace! The kitchen was very well appointed with excellent cookware. Even had a crockpot and electric frypan! The owners where easy to work with and when we had a minor plumbing issue they responded immediately and fixed the problem. We would recommend this property and would stay here again.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This little cabin in the mountains is absolutely wonderful. Full of character and charm, the home offers all the amenities one would need for a lovely getaway including dishes, plenty of pots and pans to cook with, and a Crock Pot for a meal to cook while you visit Shenandoah National Park. It's comfortable, and clean, and the view is something you will never tire of. David and Becky were so accommodating and quick to respond to any question. We really enjoyed our stay here, and plan to return in the future.
