Fantastic breakfast and hospitality (our host was very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had whatever we needed). Great to have a place to park off the street too. This is a really special place. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit Clermont-Ferrand."

"Le Petit Volcan is at the top of hillside village of Montpeyroux. Access is along narrow steep one way streets, the last of which has a sign restricting access, but we just followed the GPS right to the entrance gate. The owner greeted us and showed us the parking (unloaded the suitcases right by the door to our room) and after showing us our room (accommodation was perfect) showed us how to get to the two nearby restaurants. Zen was good! Great breakfast and again welcoming hosts."

"There is nothing that I liked. I booked months ago. On my way to the hotel I attempted to call to inform them of our arrival time, but the phone number did not work, nor did the messaging system work. We arrived there and the lights were out and the doors were locked. No one was there."
