RECENTLY CONSTRUCTED, LITTLE O CABIN CLOSE TO BALDWIN-WOLF LAKE

"We had a wonderful time during our stay, and the cabin provided everything we needed. We were in the area for a family reunion all weekend, and the location worked perfectly as our nightly home-base. The cabin was very clean, the decor was cute, and there was enough room for all of us (though we didn't spend too much time inside considering the beautiful weather we got over Labor Day weekend !) Beds were comfortable and everyone slept great after all the fun we had each day. The location was convenient for us too. A quick drive to our family reunion location, Wolf Lake store just down the road, and only a few minutes from town when we needed to grab some grocery items. We would definitely book this place again, and Shawn was a great host. Always quick to respond when I reached out with any questions. *** The loft bedroom is a great extra space. Our daughter has mobility issues, and the ladder/staircase is very steep and narrow, so just be advised if this is a concern for anyone else. She still managed to get up there, but it was tricky! Our other kids did fine! Thanks again Shawn! We hope to be back in the area next year and we would absolutely book your cabin again :)"

"There's so many things for us to say. We're not quite sure where to start. We loved that the one side property was just very private and very quiet and no one home next door. It is on a lake, sound travels of course and we heard boaters, music, people laughing, enjoying the weekend, and that was awesome. We bought water and some other items at the dollar general but the grocery store is 10 minutes away and you can get anything you need, including firewood. ( very nice people there) We leaned about the history of the area and found it fascinating. It is one of the most 'ghost town' areas (as it's described online) and we spent time on the water, making food and playing the games we brought. There is Baldwin kayaking for Pere Marquette river kayaking, canoe or raft and it was a blast...and BEAUTIFUL. Loved our little getaway for four nights. The things I think might be suggestions or concerns we wrote to the owners.The owners were very great about communication..If you want to watch t.v. Just make a Hotspot. We brought a thin rug from home for the door to the deck for our sand and such. Super clean place too with cute décor.Thanks for everything."

"This cabin was wonderful. We would definitely stay again. The kids really enjoyed the personal beach area. We kayaked and sat down there at night to stargaze. The views in the morning were beautiful. Yard big enough to play kick ball! I loved the quirky decorations. Beds were comfortable! Kitchen had all necessary amenities to cook each day. Only recommendation would be having organizers in the shower to be able to have shampoo/ soap etc off of the floor."

"Great spot for riding the Pine Creek and Pere Marquette trails. There is a covered bike rack to store the bikes between rides. Renee was very responsive with all our questions and came to us when we had one minor issue with the tv remote. Very clean and comfortable bed. Highly recommend & will stay again if in the area."
