Perfect place for a family!

I was super impressed with our stay here. Very kid friendly with lots of games and toys to choose from. The view is truly unmatched. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to (blenders, coffee grinder, coffee pot, all the pots and pans, etc). And the downstairs makes it perfect for kids to watch shows and play while adults visit upstairs. 10/10 recommend this home and will absolutely be staying here with my family when we come back to visit again next year.

Family Gathering

We selected Wind View for its central location for family members coming from Corvallis and Eastern Oregon. Lyle is a fun small town and we all enjoyed visiting Bingen. House was perfect for all 7 of us, would definitely stay again. Wonderful views of the Columbia River from in the spacious living room as well as the very comfortable deck area. Property Manager was excellent!

This is a delightful home to stay in as you explore the Columbia River Gorge. The location, in the tiny town of Lyle, is perfect for day trips going either east or west. The house is on a ridge high up over the town, giving fabulous views of the river and bluffs. While the exterior is nothing special, inside is a delightful and comfortable home. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment to make cooking and serving meals easy. The living/dining/kitchen area is open and has good flow with big windows to the enjoy the view. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms come with fluffy towels and nice soaps/shampoo, etc. And did I say that the views are great?

Easy access. Fantastic view. Driveway is steep and too tight for a sedan and truck. House appears to be recently renovated so a few things missing, but well supplied kitchen. Everything appears to be new. For five senior women the trundle bed was not the best and we were sorry it was too windy to enjoy the outdoor seating area which looked fabulous. Wildflowers were great.

Million Dollar View

We loved the property. Pros: Super clean, spacious, the view is to die for, neighborhood is quiet, welcoming presentation was sweet. Cons: Showers were terrible. That’s all. I would have given 5 stars, but the shower situation was not good. There is nothing like a nice shower. This house is amazing, the host was great, and everything was updated nicely….. and then you go to take a much needed shower at the end of a long day. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Lyle.

Nice home and a view that never gets old. It would be a great addition to ambiance if lights in firepace had worked (batteries needed replaced)...or put something in that doesn't need batteries. Excellent coffee shop nearby and the winery we visited, we had all to ourselves. Hope to come back again.

We four lady friends enjoyed a relaxing long weekend at this lovely home in Lyle. The home is modern, well-equipped, and clean with beautiful views! Only one day the wind blowed and we stayed inside, but all the others provided an opportunity to sit on the deck and enjoy watching activity on the river.

Very spacious! The kitchen was very well equipped. Loved having fresh coffee beans with a grinder instead of pre-ground coffee. The views are incredible and being up on the hill gets a fantastic breeze on the deck. The town itself doesn’t have as much to offer as some of the towns further west but overall a very nice place to stay.

Perfect for our Needs

We brought our elderly mother down to visit family. It was the perfect house for family visits and quiet relaxation in between. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed except groceries! The house sparkled. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day.
