"Beautiful location, very kind and helpful host, clean home and amenities, and enjoyed having the option to use kayaks and hot tub. Great spot to see stars also! Accessibility note : Very Steep driveway and the stairs down to the beach are not level, starting to erode and not fully safe to walk down and the handrail doesnt feel very sturdy. "

"It was the most magical stay ever!! Our young one had a blast. The house is super cozy, super warm and welcoming. There were only three of us, so w estates downstairs, but the house has a beautiful setting upstairs as well, with a little cove build for kids to hang out there with toys:). From the patio we were able to watch deers and gorgeous gigantic pine trees. At night we were able to see watch the stars. We could not use a barbecue though, maybe because it required special clean or something. But there were all the supplies to use it. Maybe next time we get to uae it. The house has two beautiful swings - one outside to watch the nature and inside - the moments in swings were so memorable!! We truly loved this cozy cabin!! So much love and care were put into it!!"

"Host was great. Easy access. Quick responses to our questions. House was… questionable. Carpets dirty but I can forgive because it’s a forest environment. Master bath shower curtain rust/mildew at the bottom. Hall bath toilet seat not connected to toilet????? Last was the weirdest. No beds had a top sheet. Had fitted bottom sheet but no top sheet. Just a blanket/comforter. Weird. They sell them in sets don’t they? All in all the house did the job for us. The surroundings are beautiful and the house was warm and dry with a nice kitchen and big screen TV. A little maintenance will make the place 5 stars. "

"This was a great place to stay - clean, well appointed, and excellent location. My only slight complaint is that the bed space was a little limited. Given the stated capacity, I expected one of the couches would be a sleeper couch. We had just enough room for everyone but our adult son felt a little bit cramped sleeping in the upper bunk."

"First I'd like to say, the views are gorgeous and the house is massive and it's pretty peaceful.The downside was that the place was pretty dirty. The linens had stains.Every dish we pulled out was dirty. The kitchen needs a deep clean and needs all out dated spices, and pantry items tossed.There are mice and rat traps all throughout the house that can be seen.There was hair and dead bugs in main floor bathroom.None of the remotes matched the tvs. We had to test all the remotes on different tvs and I think some need new batteries.Overall this space needs some sprucing up."

"This is a spacious, homey cottage fully outfitted with anything you could need. The location right on the lake with its own dock allows for great water fun. It's so quiet and peaceful. We had a fun meal at the restaurant next door, used the park at the South end for playing in the sand and on swings, we went to a concert at the farm, and hiked down to Andy Anderson Park. This is my third time renting this cute house and my kids can't wait for me to rent it again. "
