What an absolutely wonderful place! My wife and I and young son stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The staff was fantastic, the room was clean and comfortable and was modern but still had small town New England charm. The staff could not have been nicer and even upgraded us to a larger room that was a better fit for our family. The breakfast they have is one of th best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Definitely coming back again!

This was our favorite stay for our 7-day New England trip! After a hectic day exploring Vermont towns with thousands of other tourists, it was a breath of fresh air to pull into peaceful Lyme. The inn is well appointed with gorgeous gardens and sitting areas. Comfortable rooms with tasteful decor. Easy parking. The onsite restaurant is wonderful! We didn’t know to make a reservation but they offered to seat us at the bar. We got lucky and a cancellation came through, so we had a leisurely meal in the sunroom with a very kind and helpful server. There’s not much to do outside the inn, but we enjoyed strolling by the historic horse stables and down the main road after dinner. Would absolutely stay again, and next time, we’ll remember to reserve a table for dinner!
