"Family feel to this charming old hotel. Built in 1600s. Short walk to the beach. Surrounded by shops and pubs/ restaurants.Large free carpark. Excellent food and lovely staff. We had a large en-suite bedroom which was a little dated but very comfortable bed and very clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits filled up each day. Hidden gem was a swimming pool and jacuzzi which you could hire for an hour just for us. Really enjoyed our 3night stay and would love to go back."

"My family had a wonderful weekend here. The property was well equipped for our stay, Including some games for us to play in the evening. The area is beautiful to explore, I only wish we had more time! My kids loved being on the farm and really enjoyed being shown round the animals there. An idyllic family weekend away. "What a beautiful house and in such a beautiful estate. The welcome bag was also top notch! The rooms are very spacious and the kitchen well stocked with equipment. The only thing we found was that none of the shaver sockets worked to charge our toothbrushes- but a £4 adapter fixed that, and the pillows weren’t great - I’d normally bring my own but didn’t on this occasion. Lovely walks around the estate and close to Lyme Regis. Very peaceful. "

"We had a lovely week at Rousdon! The estate is very picturesque and peaceful, with some lovely walks. The house is in the old stable courtyard, and had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We found it very conveniently located for Lyme Regis, and the wider Jurassic coast. We would very much recommend it!Note: as of April 2025 the private beach is inaccessible, but you can still walk down to join the coastal path,"
