This is lovely hotel, located in the heart of the pedestrianised old town. Despite the touristy location the hotel is peaceful with an impressive central courtyard where you have breakfast. The hotel has a restaurant called Le Comptoir next door where we ate and can recommend. But there are many many other restaurants within a short walk mostly serving the hearty local bouchon cuisine.

The front desk staff was not very friendly. I also drove and once you valet you cannot access your car easily. Roads are very difficult to navigate here. And the spa is a pool and sauna not a spa with services. If you plan on coming here by metro or taxi that would be better as a car is not easily accommodated. The bell men and valet are very friendly and helpful.

This is a great property! The pool and spa were exceptional as was the food and bar. Completely walkable to everything close and located in old Lyon. My only criticism is you cannot find the hotel to use the valet.

Fantastic experience with exceptional staff. We had an absolutely brilliant time. The design of the interior was beautiful and the accommodation was extremely comfortable. We also made good use of the swimming pool and sauna 🙂

The property is conveniently located in old section of Lyon. But access is restricted as it is pedestrian area. Front desk, reception and doorman were all very helpful. Room was tiny. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant attached to hotel was very good.

This is the place to stay!

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. This is a charming hotel that has kept the old charm in tact and provides a thoroughly modern experience. Just delightful. Everything was spotless. Location in Vieux Lyon is unbeatable. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel. Location is amazing - you could not be any closer to shops and food. Be aware the hotel is on actual sidewalk/street that is usually closed. So if you are driving, make sure you call in advance for the code. Otherwise you have to walk all the way in to get the code. But its worth it

There are not enough stars to give. This property is fabulous! We hope to come back to Lyon just to experience it again. The food is excellent even when not in the Michelin star restaurant. If you are traveling by car ask them for where to enter and access code. As it is located in a pedestrian location. The location is perfect as well. I can’t say enough about this beautiful hotel. I have stayed in Ritzs and Westins. The best!

This property is in a 16th century building, and when it was redesigned for a hotel, the ergonomics of the rooms make it difficult, and even dangerous, for the guests. We changed our original “superior king “ room, because it was so dark, that we could not even find the plugs for our appliances. Our next room was lighter, but had numerous steps that were a tripping hazard if one ventured out of bed during the night, In our friends’ junior suite, the toilet was down a flight of stairs from the bedroom. While the hotel is quite charming, the rooms are not at all well designed for client comfort.

Great location, extremely helpful staff, comfortable bed. I would give it five stars except the room layout was perplexing. The toilet, shower and sitting area were downstairs, the sink, bath tub and bed were in an upstairs loft. Couldn’t the toilet and sink be on the same level?
