Rooms really nice and spacious Reception staff really friendly Restaurant staff not as helpful, waited a long time for someone to acknowledge you when ordering drinks in the bar area, breakfast was a good selection but the hot section was cold a little disappointed

great base for family vivist

We were in Lyon for ten days to visit family and the Mercure was a perfect base for us. Our 3 year old granddaughter love the pool!

An overnight stay during a business trip

One BIG problem: no functioning WiFi during our stay. Restaurant needs a new menu with different choices. Options are very limited. Friendly and efficient staff. Valet parking worked very well, thank you.

The room was clean and modern with nice lighting and a great shower. The market nearby is amazing but the neighbourhood is no Vieux Lyon. We wish the room had a wine bottle opener and the we had some warning about the fire drill.

Good hotel positioned midway between the station and Vieux Lyon. The gym is good but the swimming pool not as big as it appears in publicity! It would have been good to have some sachets of milk as part of the tea and coffee in the room!

Very nice hotel and staff. However, dinner in the restaurant was a disappointment. Ordered steak and fish, both were tough (old?). Steak sent back, came back same. Steak only about one-quarter-inch thick. Desserts were good. Only there one night, should have gone to a Michelin-recommended bistro just two blocks away. Be sure to visit Paul Bocuse Food Hall nearby.

This Mercury was very good quality for the price of the room . Traveling with a tween can be challenging to find accommodation but the rooms with double beds were spacious and well equipped. The hotel is only a 15 minutes walk from the commercial heart of the city and to a lot of dining options.

Couple of nights in Lyon

This hotel was super easy to find, would be best to walk through the shopping centre as opposed to the and divert round it. A good location and easy to get to the old town etc. Rooms are very spacious which was a nice surprise!

The room was very spacious and had excellent air conditioning. The shower was appropriate sized (vs those tiny tube sized showers in most of Europe). We did not hear others around us and slept well. We took advantage of the valet parking and truly appreciated that. We were able to easily walk and venture into Lyon from the location and felt very safe in our surroundings. The pillows were incredibly flat so I recommend asking for more. Easy fix
