"The unit is as advertised, with no exceptions, so no need to repeat that. Very nice. No problems. Host Joanne was great. This might be the nicest unit in the complex, being corner and ground floor, and the complex is also really nice. Great views, with one small caveat: there’s a hedge on the right side of the property that obstructs some of the view to the west. The sun rises directly over Haleakala crater in the morning, as viewed from the condo patio. Saw hundreds, maybe thousands of whales...

"Aston Kāʻanapali Shores is a well-located oceanfront resort in West Maui with easy beach and dining access. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, many with full kitchens and ocean views. The front desk staff provides excellent, welcoming customer service that stands out. The property also offers good amenities, including pools, beachfront access, and tropical grounds. Overall, it’s a reliable and relaxing place to stay in Maui."

"The property layout in rooms are quite beautiful however staff were rushed to leave at the end of their shift and didn’t seem happy to have non-locals on their island. Numerous times we tried to get beach supplies and were told no because the rental workers wanted to leave early. This was at 12pm one day and 2pm another day. Ridiculous with over 5-7 hours of daylight left on the beach. Super disappointing when we flew 12 hours and spent over 10k to be there"

"Wow! I cannot wait to come back to this hotel. It really is a gem! Great staff, great amenities, great location! The only thing I was not a fan of was the birds all over. I wish they would put up signs to not feed the birds (similar to what we saw at Costco when we were there). The guests definitely make this problem worst, as the guests are the ones we saw consistently feeding them."

"The front desk was great. When I arrived to check in I was immediately welcomed and taken care of as soon as I walked thru the doors. I even came thru the front desk office after a late tour and the person that checked me in greeted me - I felt like I was at home. Every person that was working in the property was so friendly and acknowledged you throughout the day. I don’t think I would stay anywhere else in Maui. I felt so safe here."
