"A relatively nice place but needs some significant updating and TLC. Bed linen and sheets are very poor quality and seem very old. Lots of spots around the room with wires hanging, or plaster no painted over etc.. Rather unusual shower made out of doors! Location is good for most things"

"Check In was quite disorganized. I cant say the reception staff is very welcoming, I think they pick and choose who to be welcoming towards. There seems to be a cleaning staff shortage because it took a while to get checking because of room cleaning. Breakfast needs a big improvement. Coffee was not godd."

"A quaint inn-like lodging outside of Dar es Salaam by the beach. Our stay was made extra special by housekeeping, reception, restaurant staff. While the property was well maintained and clean, the beach was not maintained, littered with garbage brought in and out with the tides. If Mediterraneo could also focus on its beach clean up, it would stand out with pride as a corporate citizen being part of the solution."
