"The cabin was cute with all the natural wood on the inside. The deck is in need of lot of repair as some boards were rotten. We decided not to use the patio chairs as all the welds were broken and we didn’t want to get hurt. To use the bbq we would have had to spend $30 for the propane tank. "Great room. Had everything we needed. Lots of outdoor seating and places for fires. Highly recommend"

"One of a few beautiful iconic historic resorts left in Ontario. Only 58 rooms and personal touches ... not a huge hotel. Excellent dinner and location. Large pool and great selection of free activities like shuffle board and volley ball. Minor point ... shower curtain needs to be washed to remove mildew smell. Long covered porch with many outside dining tables. Would have been nice if more of this are was used for traditional lounge chairs to relax and read or talk on hot or rainy days."

"Lovely setting and family friendly. Staff were lovely. Our room was clean, however the hallway carpets and floors are tired, worn and appeared dirty. While it is difficult to keep common areas clean in a setting where there is a beach, more cleaning is required. Families were enjoying the beach and kayaks but we chose not to due to Canadian Geese on the grass and beach areas…wondering about the cleanliness of water in shallow areas. Our waiter was lovely but it took an hour for our butter...
