"I rated this a 3 star because out of 4 days, 2 days we were disturbed by loud construction work taking place on the villa beside mine. It was from morning until evening with hammering, sawing, drilling and talking by the workers. Also, we lost all our privacy as we could not draw our room curtains, and since our washroom was outdoors with no door, we had to be extremely careful. We were not forewarned about this disturbance and I was extremely annoyed. We paid good money for our over the water...

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Sudamala. The service and hospitality of the staff was outstanding. We checked out for an overnight excursion and when we returned the next day our bags were already in our room and everything was seamless. The pool and beach amenities were relaxing and enjoyable, including poolside service from bar. And we had outstanding meals and service in the restaurant. Would stay here again any time"

"The property was excellent but a long way from town. Nothing within walking distance and cars were expensive despite short journey. You can rent scooters/motorcycles from the hotel for less than a car trip to town. We found that useful. The restaurant was delicious, particularly the pizza and Indonesian food. Breakfast wasn’t included but we just cooked in the apartment which we expected and was fine. The supermarkets in town are well stocked. The staff were amazing, super helpful and friendly....
