Fabulous 5-bedroom house in Machiasport May - 3 day min. June - Aug - 7 day min

10/10 Excellent
"This was a perfect house with kids and dogs. There is a perfect property line that’s helps separate the very minimal traffic on the road, less the 5 cars a day went by. All of the out door games and areas to hang out was definitely an added plus. We met some local fishermen and had fresh lobster 4 nights we were there. Local farm stands have some great sweet corn and fruits that made the trip even better. Roughs beach was a great beach to hang out at for a day or too. Thank you so much Maya."

"The Captain’s Home was the perfect place for our large family and the setting was beautiful. Accommodations were spacious with lots of sitting areas for all and privacy with many bedroom options to choose from, a large kitchen to cook meals and the deck offers a beautiful view of the ocean and additional space for relaxing, dining and socializing. A close drive to explore the “Downeast” area and local Machiasport and Jasper Beach is nearby to walk and enjoy the sound of the waves on pebbles, fish, and watch the seals swim. A great place to stay to just enjoy the peace and quiet or drive to nearby attractions, Acadia, Bar Harbor, Lubec, Eastport, for a day of exploring. The host, Paula provided great communication and instructions as needed. We all enjoyed the home and scenery so much and would stay here again."
