"We could here our noisy neighbors . Woke us up around 11h30 pm. So the walls are not isolated. Also the outdoor chairs on the picture look nice but are full of mold. But the chairs and table on the terrace were nice. Quite spaciouse appartement and great that it was on 2 floors. The appartement is very confortable. Everything you need is there. Overall for the price, it was nice. The establishment is not responsible for the noisy neighbors."

"Quiet, clean, in the middle of forest and agriculture. Manager Linda was helpful in providing us with kitchen items lacking in the property. She also provided a lovely fruit basket and some food staples on arrival that were most welcome as well as giving us a contact for a taxi transfer."

"We enjoyed our stay at Casa da Cebola, located in a nice little garden, in a fresh and relatively quiet place 20 minutes away from Funchal.
The house has character and is clean, the kitchen is well-equipped and the beddings comfortable. We mostly deplore that the dish-washer was out of use during our stay, and that, contrary to the house description, we had no access to a washing machine."

"We had a beautiful stay afar from the city noise and felt all around very comfortable in and around the house.
It felt like living inside a botanical garden.
A little tip:
Don’t just trust google maps - it leads you up very steep roads
Instead use ER201 (Caminho dos Pretos) - takes about 3 minutes more, but you‘ll reach your destination much more relaxed :)
