Welcome to your haven in the historic town of Machico, a paradise for nature and sea lovers, located on the stunning east coast of Madeira. Our house offers a unique experience, with direct access to the spectacular Vereda do Larano, one of the most famous coastal hikes on the island. For breathtaking views over the valley, head up to the nearby Pico do Facho viewpoint. Enjoy the utmost convenience, with the golden sand beach just 50 meters away and the charming historic center a few minutes' walk away. At the end of the day, indulge in fresh fish at Restaurante Maré Alta, a local culinary landmark. The location is also an excellent starting point for discovering the island's treasures, such as the cliffs of Ponta de São Lourenço or the mountains of Pico do Areeiro, while being just 20 minutes from Funchal. The property is easily accessible by public transport and by car.
The Madeira Airport is just 7 minutes away from the property.
This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.
Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.
For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bags.
Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
