I liked the location, it’s a little farther away from the train, so you don’t get as loud of a disruption when it comes through every hour. The view was beautiful, and it is close to the drop off point for the consettur bus when you get back from Macchu pichu. The room was clean, my only problem is that my room specifically had problems with getting hot water because the knob was broken. There was a maintenance person that came to fix it, but it went back to being cold almost immediately. I liked how they had breakfast options that were included and how attentive the hotel staff were.
The hotel staff are really what make this place. Everyone was very kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Breakfast was good and had a very homey feel.
We booked a three-bed room with a balcony, but we didn’t realize it would be on the fourth floor with no elevator, so be prepared for a walk-up. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and there is no air conditioning. It does get cooler at night, but having a fan in the room would have made a big difference. Our room also had a musky smell.
One thing to note is that the balcony is shared with another room, which wasn’t clear to us when booking. Overall, the wonderful staff and warm service were definitely the highlight of our stay.
Great place to stay the night. Bed was comfortable for us. The sound of the running stream soothed us all to sleep. Breakfast was convenient and tasty. The spot to line up for the buses to Machu pichu bus s a two minute walk up the hill.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay clean rooms. Great staff wonderful you to see the river close to everything. It’s Small so there’s not really any amenities but they actually have a very good breakfast in the morning. I would stay there again.
I only stayed here for one night so I didn’t get to know this hotel too well. I had a ticket to Machu Picchu at 6am so I arrived the day before. The lady that checked us in was very nice. Check in and check out was smooth. The room was nice and we had a nice view of the river. The hotel was near the bus stop where we got picked up to go to Machu Picchu so that was a plus. They had breakfast that started at 4:30am which was very thoughtful. I appreciated that since we had to leave the hotel at 5am to get to the bus. I would book this hotel again if I came back to Aguas Caliente.

4.30 am breakfast with freshly cooked eggs , just what was needed . Lovely clean room in a great location to catch bus to Machu Picchu.
I love that they had breakfast at 4:30 in the morning, which made it great for setting out on an early tour. The staff were incredible. They stowed our luggage which was fantastic. The property was a bit loud as there were many dogs across the street barking all night. And it was a little too far away from the center of town for my liking. The hot water handle broke, but they did come up to fix it but the water pressure was extremely low
The hotel was great! Convenient to the town center, clean, awesome balcony overlooking the river. The breakfast was tasty too! They also let us store our luggage while at Machu Picchu. We had a great time!
It’s a small hotel for a quick stay with friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean but small. The bathroom didn’t have any lotion or shower cap so bring your own. It’s very close to the train station and the main market.
Convenient location. Expert helpful organized staff, comfortable clean safe room next to the roaring river, nice hot breakfast before visiting Machu Picchu. Happily stored my luggage until my train that afternoon. Fabulous hot shower not to be missed.
I’m so glad I chose to stay here! Thank you for everything!
The triple room had plenty of space for three people and a beautiful view from the balcony! It was in a quieter part of town away from the railroad tracks but still accessible to everything. We had hot showers with good water pressure. The breakfast was a buffet with eggs made to order, and had an espresso/cappuccino machine. The amenities listed on the Expedia page included laundry facilities but there were none. We dropped off our dirty clothes a couple of blocks away, and that seemed to be the way it works for all the hotels in the area. Excellent service, clean & comfortable! This was one of our best accommodations in the Cusco region!
