"I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I booked and prepaid a room for 3 guests through Expedia, but when we arrived, the front desk told us that only 2 people were allowed in the room and demanded an additional charge for the third guest. This policy was not clearly disclosed during the booking process.
What made the experience even more frustrating was that this happened during graduation weekend, when nearly every hotel in town was fully booked. Because there were very few...
"Big Horse was an excellent find on Expedia. Self check in and out was so easy, guests were very quiet, and right down the hallway is the Black Maple Coffee and Sandwich shop. Reading material regarding the area was very interesting, and I visited the Emiquon Nature Preserve 8 minutes away before heading home. The Spoon River Anthology booklet also led me to exploring the town and poet Masters, circa 1915. Lots to come back for!!"
