4/5 - Good
The mosaic map in St. George Church was very special and seeing a mixture of historical Christian and Muslim buildings. The Moses memorial church was also very special on the way to the Dead Sea.

I absolutely loved my stay at St. John Hotel! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was welcomed into a second home—the warmth of this family-owned and run establishment truly shines through. I was delighted by the unexpected upgrade to a room with a balcony. Your generosity extended beyond ...

Good staff, decent and quiet location. Pick up liquor here before you go to the Dead Sea or Petra, its 8JD a beer in those places. This was a great spot to rest before we went to Petra. Also Madaba has a lot to see so plan to stick around for 1/2 a day or so.

The hotel was excellent value for money and the bedroom spacious and comfortable. Super comfortable beds. Easy to walk into the busier part of town. Breakfast was good and the pool looked great, although we did not have time to enjoy that! Great for a short stay over when touring in Jordan

We didn't get there until midnight & left at 5 next morning, so we did not get to do anything in Madaba. But driving thru the city, it seems very touristry; we saw many shops & eateries still open after 11pm. Looks like a very lively city
I think 2 days is a maximum amount to stay in Madaba. Great mosaics and good church’s to look at as well as the Madaba map of course!
Madaba is a lovely little city. Lots of history
