Lodges in Madagascar

"Staff were lovely. Note this is very much in the jungle but the staff did a great job and the place was clean with all the amenities you need. "

"We loved our stay at Eden Lodge. Lots to do in the area, food was fantastic, lemurs in the trees, very relaxing. "

"Beautiful hotel set in nature, lovely and helpful staff, very clean. Really enjoyed the stay and will miss this place. "

"Nice resort to relax"

"What makes this hotel amazing is not just the stunning location but the beautiful sweet lady who manages the day to day, cleans and serves the restaurant. Regretfully i have forgotten her name but i want to thank her again for the sandwiches she made for our day out to the Amber mountains, her kindness, her smile and efforts to understand us when we don’t speak french. Grilled fish and seafood was fresh and tasty at the bar and if you are not into kitesurfing, I dare to say the walks along the...

"The staff is fantastic and helpfull. The location is great and the food is very good"

"Undergoing some refurbishments presently which is good. Quite a small hotel but lovely staff and location. "

"My favourite hotel i have returned several times. It is not only a very calm and beautiful place, the staff is also exceptional. It clearly shines through that the owners (italian) and the management are great responsible people, it resonates through the space and staff. "

"J'ai réservé sur votre site et arrivez sur place, pas de réservation donc. Je n'ai pas pu trouver. De logement. Je trouve ça plutôt scandaleux d'avoir payé une prestation alors que j'en ai pas profité."

"Petit hotel trés agréable à Nosy Be. Les bungalows sont trés jolis et agréables. Point fort, la piscine, qui est grande et belle, extrêmement agréable aprés une journée de balade dans Nosy Be. La plage n'est pas trés belle (les belles plages sont plutôt sur les autres îles autour de Nosy Be), mais c'est quand même un vrai plus d'avoir un accès direct à la mer et le coucher de soleil sur la mer est magnifique ! Les pats proposés sont plutôt bons et les suggestions de l'ardoise permettent de...

"The resort and the surrounding area represent entire Madagascar on a smaller scale. You see lemurs, chameleons, baobabs, a small village, beaches, a small tsingy... "

"Nice setting, good lication, friendly staff."

"Surrounding special natural resources, as beautiful beach, gardan, wild forest. The lemurs come to just behind the bangarows! And owners and staff are warmly care every guest. And foods are awesome especially seafoods. We need to take a boat to reach and it's relly good excursions. I wish I would've stay longer, actually I was there only two nights. They have many tours to enjoy your stay. The transportation to the airport was 20 EUR."

"After booking owner said that they are closed since a month and I needed to change my whole plan as it was the only affordable hotel in the area."

"The room was big with a seating area and it had a terrace. The beds was very comfortable. The dinner was very nice, the breakfast too (the take-away breakfast did not have the same standard) . The hotel had a swimming pool. There was only WiFi the reception. There was no heating possibilities in the room, and the room was cold (June). Tip: Visit Vakona and experience the lemurs come close. "

"Good"

"Très bel établissement extrêmement propre. Un lieu magnifique et une vue exceptionnelle. Le personnel est également très attentionné. Ne pas manquer de s'y arrêter et visiter la montagne d'ambre"

"Famata lodge was a great stay for a couple of nights. If you are doing the RN7 and want to stay close to the airport, this place may be for you. They upgraded us from the Hemingway to the Eau-La-La which worked great for our family. Lots of sitting space. The pool is nice and relaxing. For dinner, they made vegetarian options for me that were interesting and enjoyable to eat. "

"They truly made us feel like we were guests at their property."
