"The hotel in general and my room were good. Staff was acceptable at check-in. Two issues, my AC did not function well, staying on without cycling on and off, and after turning it off completely, and then back on, it would not stay on at all, nor did the temperature feature work. So the room was either way too cold, or too hot. One other issue - only a personal preference - breakfast was not served until 6:30, which I had to miss - with a long drive ahead of me, I needed to be on the road by 6:00. I'd have left a bit later if it was served at 6:00, but 6:30 meant leaving at 7:00 at the earliest, which was not an option for me. Disappointed about no coffee or breakfast before hitting the road."

"My wife and I just spent a week at Agave House. It was an amazing stay.The house is as you see it on VRBO. The location is quiet and spectacular. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. There were no communication problems with our host, but we didn't need to communicate... everything was as it needed to be. There were nice snacks in the kitchen and chocolates in the bedrooms.We loved the porch for morning coffee or late-evening suppers. We appreciated use of the garage, as well as a cooler that we could use for day trips. Our primary goal for the week was birding in the amazing diversity of southeastern Arizona. Our host left useful bird guides in the dining room... I thought that was really thoughtful! (Speaking of birds, we saw 130 species during the course of the week. 80 of those were new for us, since we live in Virginia.)I absolutely recommend Agave House!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The hosts provided everything you could possibly need and more! The interior was clean and comfortable. Perfect for 2 people. We spent a lot of time on the deck feeding the birds and enjoying being surrounded by all the beautiful trees. There is a wonderful view of the mountain from the living room that changed throughout the day. I took many pictures of it trying to capture all its nuances as the light changed. We saw deer, coatimundi, a bear (closeup), 2 varieties of squirrels, hummingbirds, Mexican jays, grosbeaks, and woodpeckers. It was a great, relaxing way to spend our vacation. We loved it and will definitely be back!!"
